Basically, this is a process through which one has todocument and show conclusive evidence of one’s mastery of the skillsone needs to use in one’s professional field, to a jury of bothprofessional experts and trainers. This evidence needs to bestructured according to the relevant diploma criteria (technical as wellas more formal or theoretical). The process, which can be lengthy,culminates in a presentation of the evidence and a discussion withjury members. If the jury agrees that the candidate meets thecriteria, by successfully demonstrating his/her mastery, it gives thecandidate the benefit of the diploma (at least in part).
