In this time on a national level, the task is todisseminate the tools and related procedures (the method is asimportant as the tools themselves) created by the TALENT.4.3 Development Partnership PAMIR SON “ProjektArbeitsmarktintegration von Migranten in der RegionSudOstNds”The German Development Partnership implemented specialprocedures to cope with integration of migrant workers orcooperation with local and regional labour market agencies. Inchoosing partners the Development Partnership was guided by theprinciple of comparative advantage. The activities also involvedparticipation of migrants' organizations in carrying out the tasks withregard to their specific situation as well as coordination between themain networks of actors at both local and regional level. On theoperational level the activities involved elaboration of migrant-specificskill upgrading schemes and vocational courses. These activitiesinvolved personal and practical training, tapping the hitherto unusedpotential of trainable and capable workers, particularly theirmultilingualism and social, educational/vocational skills, also includingintercultural mediation of prejudice against migrants' permanentemployment, aimed at personnel managers and other persons incharge.Final report 207
