TEFI TCA – id. code 3919interested subjects and the planning and running of the trainingactivities.The project starts up actions for integrating the immigrants, theemergence of irregular employment and the meeting between jobdemand and offer with the aim of stabilizing employment (ofimmigrants and non-immigrants).The desire is to resolve the problem of discrimination through thestarting up of actions directed at the weaker categories of theEmployment Market (Mercato del Lavoro - MdL), with particularreference to the immigrants in the province of Teramo, thecompanies existing on the territory, the public and private operatorsof the area who are in some way involved in the problems ofimmigration and non-regular employment.The activities include a phase of in depth research for an accurateknowledge of the information regarding the phenomena ofimmigration and irregular employment; an assessment of theemployment needs of the companies and, parallel to this, the trainingrequirements of the immigrant and disadvantaged subjects.In this way it is hoped to improve the level of training of the workersand unemployed, immigrants and others, through actions aimed atskills assessment, training courses, exchange of experiences, and tocertify the skills of those with the higher qualifications.Through these actions it is also wished to favour the consolidation ofregular employment in the companies.Another aspect regards the creation of training modules to favour thesetting up of new enterprises, individual as well as partnerships.The total involvement in the aforesaid actions of the entrepreneursfor favouring “on the job” training of the necessary skills for anFinal report 94
