TEFI TCA – id. code 39192.5 CONCLUSIONSEmployment, a true “equal” and “normal” job, is one of the mainelements for the reconstruction of individual identity and dignity ofevery person and in particular for the immigrant.The key to the success of a generalized intervention for placing inemployment and integration of immigrants is the individualization ofthe interventions and the networking of those functions that supportit.This is what has transversally emerged from the comparison betweenthe various partners which has given cause for reflection on thevarious methods for evaluating skills.In our course of sounding out possibilities, we wished to have aclearer idea of the situations of reference that could be helpful inbetter understanding the phenomena of social exclusion concernedwith the problems of immigration, to better visualize and interpretthat which happens “in the field”, where a plurality of socialprotagonists operate, to identify usable approaches and priorities foridentifying a programme of interventions.In highlighting the actions carried out by the TEFI partner countries,involved in answering the problems that immigrants meet on thesubject of employment integration, we underlined the necessity, infact, to create courses that affirm the central figure of the immigrantintervening with contextual activities of “mediation and support”(companies, socio-assistance services, services for employment,etc.).Final report 141
