Environmental Protection, Industrialand Occupational SafetyThe Company objectives in HSE are:• continuous reduction of occupational injuries,occupational diseases, accidents and negativeimpact on the environment;• compliance with the requirements of nationallegislation in the area of environmental protection,industrial and occupational safety, internationalstandards, Gazprom Neft standards and in-houseCompany Standards;• establishment of the Contractor and Third PartyManagement System in the area of HSE whichwould allow Company to effectively manage and controlactivities during the presence of contractors and thirdparties at the site;• development of HSE culture by improving HSEemployee motivation systems in the Company;• HSE performance improvement by improvingworking condition and ensuring safe workplaces;• reduction of HSE-related court proceedings;• systematic directing of all production activitiesand technological processes in view of minimizingthe negative impacts of Company core activitieson all environmental aspects.• rational use of natural resources and energy inline with sustainable development principles• fulfilment of all obligations prescribed by thelegislation of the Republic of Serbia in the fieldof environmental protection and safety andcompliance of the Company business activitieswith the EU regulations,The fulfilment of specified objectives will be reachedthrough:• Establishing of centralized system of planning andreporting (corporate level);• Development and implementation of softwaresolutions for managing HSE system - processautomation;• Unification and improve the management NMDin HSE;• Improvements of HSE control - control of processmanagement;• Improvements of HSE training system;• Improvements of HSE motivation and• Realization of the "NSE Leadership" training inorder to improve the HSE cultureIn 2013 optimization of normative methodologicaldocuments if field of HSE will be performed as well asestablishing of centralized system of making NMDswhich will facilitate the control of HSE activities.Occupational Injuries and Preventionof AccidentsIn <strong>2012</strong>,106 occupational injuries took place. This figureis considerably lower than in the same period in 2011 whenthe number of occupational injuries amounted to 142.<strong>2012</strong>-2015 Company Strategy targets at reducing the losttime injury frequency rates (LTIF) in line with the definedobjectives.
