• In <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>NIS</strong> introduced a new concept of supportto activities which aid local community development,by allocating one half of funds through a public tender.The contest was intended for associations, foundations,humanitarian, non-governmental, and otherorganizations, as well as individuals - young talentsfrom municipalities and cities which a cooperationagreement with <strong>NIS</strong>. In this manner, <strong>NIS</strong> wants tomotivate and support creativity and responsibility oforganizations and individuals, thus contributing to abetter future and more humane society through a jointaction.• Area of employment - new cooperation directionbetween <strong>NIS</strong> and AP Vojvodina. <strong>NIS</strong> seeks to contributeto the employment committee in Vojvodina actively,due to the reason of which a special agreement wassigned with the Secretariat for Labor, Employment,and Equality of Sexes. This agreement obliges <strong>NIS</strong>, forthe period of one year, by means of a public contest,to employ 250 persons with university education whoare currently registered with the National EmploymentAgency on the territory of Vojvodina.In addition, the "Cooperation for the Purpose of Development"program included the following:• "Nisville" International Jazz Festival - the mostsignificant manifestation of this type on the Balkans,which gathers leading international and local jazzgroups and artists• "Exit" Music Festival. The campaign "Yes, WeCan Press" in order to raise awareness on the need ofrecycling• "Zmaj Children Games".
