SAI-CARE An Offering for Humanity and Nation Building Walk For Values Carnival – Langkawi The Walk For Values - Go Green was held in Langkawi on the 16 July 2010. About 300 persons from the Associations, Schools, Government Bodies took part in the walk from Sekolah Kebangsaan Kelibang to Pekan Rabu. Posters and Placards displayed messages of human values and earth friendly were carried by the participants of the walk.
SAI-CARE An Offering for Humanity and Nation Building Walk for Values 2010 Sri Muda- Go Green As a prelude to the nation’s 53 rd Merdeka Day Celebration, the Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Sri Muda on behalf of Sathya Sai Central Council of Malaysia paid tribute to Mother Nature by “walking for her freedom” in an exciting annual event known as the Walk for Values 2010. Themed Go Green, the 3.0km walk around the Sri Muda business and school districts saw young and old Malaysians marching together as 1Malaysia to raise awareness on the importance of practicing basic human values that helps indirectly to plant the seed of caring for MOTHER NATURE. Gathering at the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA) field, some 2,200 participants adorned in ‘green’ outfits helped distribute flyers on environment to residents in the area, including retail and business outlets as well as tuition centres, schools and government offices.
