1. INTRODUCTION
The Walk For Values (WFV) is a comprehensive and pervasive Human Values Awareness
initiative with the aim to increase the awareness and the importance of Human Values in our
lives. WFV has been designed on a 2 Phase approach that provides the opportunity of
reaching out to the public from a macro to micro level.
The Walk for Values will gather people to take the step towards igniting Human Values in their
lives. Participants will take part by walking a 3/5 KM public route.
Walkers will carry colourful banners and placards promoting the five human values of Truth,
Right Conduct, Love, Peace and Non Violence. Participation in the Walk is free of charge
and participants will receive or make their own ‘Values t-shirt’. The ‘Values T-shirt’ MUST be
worn during the event. Additional give aways such as a small bag with some snacks, a logo
sticker, a Values bookmark and a bottle of water could be put into plan to encourage
greater participation.
Participants are encouraged to perform entertaining gigs while walking. These gigs can be in
any form such as singing, acting, cheering and MUST BE HUMAN VALUES THEMED.
The event should be decorated in a carnival fashion with stationary activities at the finish line
