TRAVELLIVE 01-2016

Dear Travllive’s readers, On these first days of New Year 2016, cheerful melodies of Tet have been played everywhere, marking the arrival of Lunar New Year. Lyrics of old traditional songs have their own power to call back my memories as if I was just a child happily singing the songs with my friends day by day when Tet was coming to town. When I was studying at university, I had two Tet each year, one for patients and the old in social protection centers and one for my family.

After her journeys to Himalayas during
3 years, in January 2016, Quynh Anh
introduced her “Himalaya” exhibition,
aiming at sharing her experiences and new
views of this mysterious land. “Probably,
in the previous life, I was born somewhere
in Himalayas” she said when being asked
why she spent so much time taking photos
here. For her, this land features an invisible
attractiveness which enchants her to come
back right after her first visit.
Himalayas have been the inspiration of
many films and photos thanks to their
mysterious beauty of the majestic nature.
On “the roof of the world” with rugged
terrain and extreme weather, everything
here from stones and grass to people
exudes the spiritual beauty of purity.
