Dear Travllive’s readers, On these first days of New Year 2016, cheerful melodies of Tet have been played everywhere, marking the arrival of Lunar New Year. Lyrics of old traditional songs have their own power to call back my memories as if I was just a child happily singing the songs with my friends day by day when Tet was coming to town. When I was studying at university, I had two Tet each year, one for patients and the old in social protection centers and one for my family.

TURKISH AIRLINES<br />
Turkish Airlines will open new<br />
direct routes from Hanoi and<br />
HCMC to Istanbul (Turkey) in<br />
2<strong>01</strong>6. Previously, flights from<br />
Vietnam to Turkey have to<br />
transit in Bangkok (Thailand).<br />
Turkish Airlines has cooperated<br />
with Cappadocia (Turkey)<br />
to promote tourism and offer<br />
Vietnamese visitors opportunities<br />
to explore this fairyland.<br />
As planned, non-stop flights by<br />
Turkish Airlines will officially<br />
launch in June 2<strong>01</strong>6. There will<br />
be five flights weekly, three from<br />
Hanoi and two from HCMC.<br />
The itinerary will be Istanbul<br />
- Hanoi - HCMC - Istanbul<br />
and Istanbul - HCMC - Hanoi -<br />
Istanbul. A330 (289 seats) and<br />
A340 (270 seats) will be used to<br />
serve these flights.<br />
From January 2<strong>01</strong>6, visitors<br />
who want to travel from<br />
Hanoi/HCMC to Istanbul<br />
and vice versa with Turkish<br />
Airlines can book tickets on<br />

HAI PHONG<br />
Hai Phong's opera house is now<br />
officially recognized as a national<br />
monument by the Ministry of<br />
Culture, Sports and Tourism.<br />
Hai Phong Opera House was<br />
constructed by French from<br />
1904 to1912 at the place of an<br />
old market. The building followed<br />
Baroque architecture which was<br />
popular in Italy, Austria, Spain<br />
and France, then become a major<br />
trend from the late 16 th century<br />
to the mid 18 th century.<br />
VIETNAM AIRLINES<br />
Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has<br />
transfered its Ha Noi-Tuy Hoa<br />
City flight route to Jetstar Pacific<br />
Airlines (JPA) from December16.<br />
JPA operates four flights per<br />
week on Monday, Wednesday,<br />
Friday, and Sunday, using A320<br />
aircraft with 180 seats instead of<br />
aircraft ATR-72 with 68 seats.<br />
The flights will depart Ha Noi<br />
at 7:30am (15 minutes earlier)<br />
and leave Tuy Hoa at 9:55am<br />
(55 minutes earlier). The time<br />
for each flight is shortened by<br />
40 minutes to one hour and 50<br />
minutes.<br />
PHU QUOC<br />
According to the recent figure<br />
published by Skyscanner Singapore,<br />
Phu Quoc, Vietnam has<br />
strong growth and is expected<br />
to attract the largest number<br />
of visitors in 2<strong>01</strong>6, increasing<br />
202%. Phu Quoc island has clean<br />
and primitive environment. The<br />
island is changing and strongly<br />
developing, from airport, streets<br />
to modern resort. Phu Quoc is<br />
expected to be the most attractive<br />
destination in 2<strong>01</strong>6.<br />
WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS<br />
InterContinental Danang Sun<br />
Peninsula of Vietnam has been<br />
recognized as the World's<br />

global accolades are the benchmark<br />

giving international visitors<br />

My Son Management Board<br />
of Relics and Tourism has<br />
announced that ticket price<br />
will be raised by 50% from<br />
January 1 st 2<strong>01</strong>6. The price will<br />
increase from VND100,000 to<br />
VND150,000 for international<br />
visitor and from VND60,000 to<br />
VND100,000 for domestic visitor.<br />
Many new services are put<br />
into practice such as transporting<br />
passengers by tram from<br />
Khe The Bridge into the relics,<br />
Cham's folk performances at<br />
the foot of the monument.<br />
Helicopter service for sightseeing<br />
is also being tested. My Son<br />
Sanctuary - a world heritage<br />
recognized by UNESSCO - is<br />
located at Duy Phu commune<br />
(Duy Xuyen Dist., Quang Nam),<br />
about 70 km from Danang city<br />
and 30 km to the west of the<br />

DA NANG<br />
Da Nang People's Committee has announce<br />
its plan of providing a wide range of fascinating<br />
festive and cultural activities along both banks of<br />
the Han River in 2<strong>01</strong>6. Exciting entertainment<br />
programs and cultural activities will include a<br />
street music program on the Bach Dang Street<br />
riverside walk every Saturday evening, and<br />
Dragon's head breathing fire and squirting water<br />
at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.<br />
A pilot steam musical performance will take<br />
place at the western end of the Rong Bridge<br />
every Sunday from 7:30am to 8:30am. In addition,<br />
the Tuong (classical drama) performance<br />
will be held alternately by Nguyen Hien Dinh<br />
Theater's artists at the two ends of the bridge<br />
every Sunday evening. "Weekend Playground"<br />
with various interesting activities, funny games,<br />
hip-hop and dancing contests will be held at a<br />
park near the Novotel Danang Premier Han<br />
