ARTIST STATEMENT
The most recent work in this series explores the idea of memory
floating in a constructed tide of mnemonic icons. The memories dissolve
and reappear as synaptic links are formed and fade with time.
Mnemonic notations, as those with long memories have noted, has
been evolving for years. The artist has continuously reworked and
modified this single computer file, fixing it from time to time for exhibition
at the annual SIGGRAPH conference and various art exhibitions
around the world.
