En 2019, Pebble Beach Golf Links cumplirá un siglo, y lo hará con la celebración del U.S. Open. Será la sexta<br />
vez que el campo acoge este campeonato, el más importante de los Estados Unidos. Tendido junto a la costa<br />
californiana, algunos de sus 18 hoyos cuelgan sobre los acantilados. Lo increíble es que sus creadores en 1919,<br />
Jack Neville y Douglas Grant, no tenían experiencia en el diseño de campos de golf. No se pierda el hoyo 5: lo<br />
rediseñó Jack Nicklaus en 1999. / Pebble Beach Golf Links will be celebrating its one hundredth anniversary<br />
in 2019, and will do so by hosting the U.S. Open. It will be the sixth time this course hosts the most important<br />
championship in the United States. Located on the California coast, some of its 18 holes hang over the cliffs.<br />
The incredible thing about it is that in 1919, its designers, Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, had no golf course<br />
design experience. Don’t miss the 5 th hole: it was re-designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1999.<br />
