Es uno de los mayores coleccionistas
de fotografía del mundo.
Su colección personal incluye
unas 7.000 instantáneas, muchas
de ellas obras maestras.
Hasta el 7 de mayo, casi 200
de ellas se exhiben en la Tate
Modern de Londres bajo el título
The Radical Eye. El músico
empezó a adquirir fotografías a
principios de los años 90, después
de su última rehabilitación
del alcohol y las drogas. «Comprar
fotografías es una adicción
mucho más saludable», asegura.

on display until 7th May at the
Tate Modern in London under
the name The Radical Eye.
The musician began collecting
photographs in the early 90s,
after his last stint in rehab for
alcohol and drugs. «It’s a much
healthier addiction to buy photographs»,
he says.
