Members in STAGE III establish and become more focused on their goals, destinations and resolutions while at the same time greatly reducing any negative addictions that could destroy the positive habitual infrastructure they have created. Common goals include: CAREER Change of career Receive a promotion Increase sales Start a small business LEARNING Learn a new language Learn to cook Learn a musical instrument RELATIONSHIP Fall in love Get married Make new friends Improve parental skills FINANCIAL Get out of debt Save money 126
Become financially independent Purchase a home Any successful attempt at a goal, destination or resolution requires that your three elements of Physical, Intellectual and Emotional Intelligences synchronize. Working together to achieve a new or different standard in the way you think, how you feel and how you live. Without the preparations you make in STAGE II, successfully achieving these standards is virtually impossible. STAGE III, however, can create unexpected changes in the member’s lives including a potential reshuffling of a support and social groups. Members who have reached this stage have made a commitment to CHANGE on the road to success. Making these changes doesn’t mean that associates, friends or family will go along and agree to these changes. In general, people have a natural tendency to not want to be left behind whether they realize it or not. Members in STAGE III will likely begin to have conflicting values with friends and family. Once shared values such, some examples include, excessive alcohol, unhealthy food 127
