WILDERNESS QUEST Wilderness Quest is a THREE DAY event where students arrive early, register and begin their morning seminar in a classroom setting. There are three seminar topics that are preselected for the week from our list of courses that include personal development, sales, leadership and business culture themes. Each day, after a catered lunch, the group enters the experiential portion of their training and is divided into teams. They compete for recognition, awards and prizes given out at the end of the week in one of our preselected programs. Competitions range from: Climbing rock walls Climbing towers Crossing wire bridges Leaping from heights of 75’ 160
Zip lining White water rafting Tandem parachute jumping These programs are perfectly designed so that an average person can be pushed to their physical and emotional limits and yet be successful. The point of the competition IS NOT to be the strongest or the fastest. What matters the most, is how you deal with the challenges that come up during the competition. It’s at this point, that most of our students see a direct REFLECTION of who they are and likely how they deal with LIFE’s situations. Many students can become emotional. They discover that they may not be able to complete a task, but have found a better way to deal with situations where the objective is not reached. Other students discover, after vowing they could never make it through the program, not only have completed it - but excelled at a task and found a whole new level of confidence they can bring back with them to their careers, relationships and their LIFE. By the end of the final day, the groups return to the classroom for a reward ceremony as prizes like gift cards and flat screen TVs are handed out. The highlight of the 161
