A Tragic Family Link
My mother, Dolores, with whom this book is dedicated
too, died in 2014. She meant the world to me and was
always hopeful for my success. We were very close
throughout my childhood because we shared a common
enemy, my father’s alcoholism.
Robert Thompson and my mother were married in June
of 1955. He was a veteran soldier of Korea and my mother
was a stylist at a local beauty shop.
