No adaptability. When faced with these
challenges, students learn the importance of
adapting to a new environment. They learn that
change can happen at any time during their
career and take on many forms. When trying to
achieve a simple goal of reaching the top of a
climbing wall, one must be able to adapt to the
challenges faced by the climber and work around
them.
No focus. This is one of the top reasons
salespeople fail. Lack of focus. All of our physical
challenges have intensity levels high enough that
focus is essential. Students learn how focus can
change the outcome of any situation.
Also, these experiential programs require self-initiative
and are a Reflective Learning Tool which shows students
a direct reflection of themselves and how they would react
in situations that are filled with pressure, stress and
emotionally based.
These situations create a level of vulnerability or fear that
opens a window of growth for each student.
Most educators understand the role experience plays in
the learning process.
