The 2010 Rosé is a gorgeous wine.
Rich, vinous and deep on the
palate, yet with terrific freshness
and verve, the 2010 is wonderfully
complete and expressive from
start to finish. Deceptively light in
color, the 2010 is impeccably
balanced and harmonious. Hints of
cranberry and mint inform the
bright, floral finish.

Slate, crushed rocks, smoke
and white orchard fruit are
some of the notes that
emerge from the 2008
Amour de Deutz Rosé
(375ml). Vibrant, salivating
and crystalline in its purity,
the 2008 offers exceptional
precision and fabulous
overall balance. The pure
energy of the Chardonnay
here is striking. This is a
tremendous showing. The
375ml bottles will be sold as
a boxed set along with the
2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé
and William Deutz.
The 2008 Brut William Deutz
(375ml) is powerful, rich and
intense, with plenty of warm,
toasty notes that lend richness
to the Chardonnay. Orange
peel, candied apricot, pastry
and butter notes flesh out in an
expressive, layered Champagne
to drink now and over the next
few years. This is a distinctly
rich, tropically-leaning style
with considerable Pinot Noir
richness. Readers who like big,
ample Champagnes will find
much to enjoy here. The 375ml
bottles will be sold as a boxed
set along with the 2008 Amour
de Deutz and Amour de Deutz
Rosé.
The 2008 Amour de Deutz
Rosé (375ml) is another
compelling wine in this
range. A host of rose petal,
chalk, white pepper and
sweet red berry scents open
up effortlessly in the glass.
Precise and finely sculpted,
the 2008 can be enjoyed
now or cellared for at least
a few years. Once again, the
Deutz Rosés have an
uncanny ability to deliver
intensity and vinosity with
no excess weight. The
375ml bottles will be sold as
a boxed set along with the
2008 William Deutz and
Amour de Deutz.
