Sample device profile document<br />

A device profile document is provided with any DNP3 compliant device. The document<br />

format <strong>and</strong> content is specified by the DNP3 documentation, <strong>and</strong> provides full information<br />

on the device including the DNP3 level, additional features, data objects supported, <strong>and</strong><br />

configuration details.<br />

The device profile document format is specified as:<br />

• Device profile<br />

• Implementation table<br />

• Point list (optional)<br />

The following device profile document has been reproduced with the kind permission of<br />

Nu-Lec Pty Ltd. The content remains the property of Nu-Lec. This device profile is for a<br />

Nu-Lec recloser.<br />

The Nu-Lec Pty Ltd device profile document includes the point list for the device.<br />

However, due to space limitations this cannot be included within this manual. A small part<br />

of the point list titled ‘ACR – Counter Point’ has been included as a sample. For reference,<br />

the full content of the document is listed below.<br />
