What is the programme about?<br />
This one-year add-on programme prepares graduates to undertake the functions associated with the role of a<br />
Site Manager.<br />
The Site Manager is a key member of the construction process who is responsible for the operational<br />
management of a particular building project. They will be responsible for co-ordinating various site operations<br />
to ensure the project is completed in accordance with the construction programme, to the agreed quality and<br />
within the client’s budget. To do this, graduates must have extensive knowledge of building techniques and<br />
have the management qualities necessary to lead a construction team through a series of challenging projects.<br />
Who is the programme suited to?<br />
This one year add-on programme is suitable for holders of Level 6 Higher Certificates in relevant areas who<br />
wish to progress their studies to degree level.<br />

Advanced Surveying and Setting Out, Sustainable Building Services 2, Construction Law and Supply Chain<br />
Management, Advanced Construction IT, Sustainable Construction Tech, Site Management, Site<br />
Management PED.<br />
What can I do after the programme?<br />
On successful completion of the programme, job opportunities for graduates include: Site Manager, Site<br />
Engineer, Trainee Building Surveyor.<br />
Some <strong>LIT</strong> Site Management graduates work for Roadstone, ProCAD Engineering, F3 Surveyors.<br />
