Entry Requirements<br />

You must meet the Institute’s general requirements and the<br />

specific requirements of the programme. Our International<br />

Office is experienced at assessing international qualifications<br />

and are available to advise on setting-out your course interests,<br />

your current qualifications, and your current level of English.<br />

English Language Competence<br />

Since all our programmes are conducted through the medium<br />

of English, it is essential to have high level comprehension and<br />

writing skills. If English is not your first language you will be<br />

required to demonstrate that you have the competence to<br />

undertake study through English by presenting evidence of<br />

achievement in IELTS, TOEFL, or the Cambridge test.<br />

Undergraduate: The minimum English language requirement for<br />

first year applicants is an IELTS score of 5.5. Applicants with<br />

IELTS 5.5 are recommended to undertake <strong>LIT</strong>’s English<br />

language evening course. The minimum English language<br />

requirement for advanced entry (years 2, 3 or 4) is an IELTS<br />

score of 6.0.<br />
