What is the programme about?<br />
This one year full-time Level 7 degree programme provides a unique blend of practical application and theory<br />
that immerses the student in Culinary Arts with an emphasis on developing innovative and knowledgeable<br />
chefs who are able to excel in a wide range of increasingly dynamic and competitive environments.<br />
The programme is designed to enable both recent graduates and experienced chefs to maximise their potential<br />
both personally and professionally. Students are required to attend <strong>LIT</strong> from September to February followed<br />
by a full-time, paid 6 month work placement from March to August.<br />
Who is the programme suited to?<br />
This add-on programme provides skilled craft graduates required for industry by focusing on the development<br />
of a combination of practical food preparation skills and product knowledge, while also emphasising<br />
professionalism, personal development and lifelong learning.<br />

Research Methods and Professional Culinary Work Placement<br />
What can I do after the programme?<br />
This degree programme aims to equip individual students with both additional skills and education necessary<br />
for a career in the culinary arts. These skilled graduates will meet Irish and international demand for high<br />
