Breaking in New Machine IMPORTANT: Operating a new machine at full load without first breaking in can cause scratches and/or seizures, consequently affecting the service life of the machine. Thoroughly perform break-in operation. BREAK-IN The service life and performance of the machine can be greatly affected by operation and maintenance of the machine during the initial stage of operation. Perform break-in operation with the engine output less than 80% of the maximum output for the first 50 hours. 2-1
