OVERVIEW<br />
Canberra is a great place to actively pursue your<br />
dreams. As Australia’s capital, big ideas emerge,<br />
circulate and grow in Canberra thanks to unique<br />
links between leading thinkers in business,<br />
government, education and research.<br />
With a population of over 400 000 people, Canberra<br />
and the greater ACT region offers all the excitement<br />
and advantages of city living without the traffic,<br />

extremely desirable place to live. Here interns and<br />
residents can enjoy world-class festivals, facilities,<br />
entertainment, outdoor pursuits, dining, shopping<br />

Canberra is a carefully planned city, so getting<br />
around is easy with most things being within a<br />
20-minute drive. More than 2,400 kilometres of<br />
dedicated bicycle tracks, trails and lanes connect<br />
each of the major CBD areas in the city. In addition,<br />
the ACT’s public transport system, ACTION, is a<br />
fast and reliable bus service.<br />
Canberra is also a safe city, with one of the lowest<br />
crime rates of any major Australian city, and an<br />
inclusive and welcoming community.<br />
