into the creative process.
These four reflections–openness, being moved, insight, and
understanding–are arranged in a wheel to suggest their cyclic and
interdependent relationship. But in practice, things are not so
simple. These four reflections can as easily be stages in a process as
interdependent factors forming a wheel that starts to spiral as we
ascend or descend through the design journey. Like eddies in a
stream they may form larger or smaller moments as you move
through a creative project. Being aware of where you are in this
wheel will help you concentrate the internal resources, energies,
and attitudes that best serve you.
