THE EXAMPLE OF THE CITY OF WŁOCŁAWEK, POLAND
Problemem badawczym stało się powiązanie życia społecznego
ze strukturą przestrzenną, a celem pracy znalezienie schematów
rozwiązań przestrzennych stymulujących jego rozwój na 3 poziomach.
MAKRO. W skali całego miasta zaproponowano podział na federacje
mniejszych wspólnot, tworząc odpowiednie warunki do wytworzenia
się bogactwa subkultur i wzmocnienia więzi międzyludzkich. MEZO.
Przekształcenie struktury urbanistycznej wschodniej część miasta
i utworzenie wielofunkcyjnego ośrodka, oferującego dobre warunki
życia. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na przestrzeń publiczną, jej
powiązanie oraz nakierowanie miasta w stronę rzeki, wyznaczając
3 obszary wzdłuż Wisły, stanowiące istotne punkty pobudzenia życia
społecznego. MIKRO. Ukształtowanie struktury zabudowy Starego
Miasta- osady rzemieślniczej skupiającej drobne wytwórstwo
rzemieślnicze i artystyczne oraz rozrywkowo- kulturalne zaplecze.
Część architektoniczną stanowi rewitalizacja Starego Rynku wraz
z projektowanym obiektem towarzyszącym - Ratuszem nad Wisłą
jako symbolem miasta społecznego.
The research problem of the thesis is linking social life with spatial
structure. The objective of the thesis is to find spatial solution schemes
that stimulate its development on three levels. MACRO. At the scale
of the entire city, the project proposes the division of the city into
federations of smaller communities by creating the right conditions
for the development of the richness of subcultures and strengthening
human relationships. MEZZO. Redeveloping the urban structure
of the eastern part of the city and creating a multifunctional facility
to offer good living conditions. Special attention is paid to public
space, its connections and the focusing of the city towards the river
by creating three areas along the Vistula which make up important
points of stimulating social life. MICRO. Shaping the structure of
the Old Town – an artisan settlement bringing together small-scale
arts and crafts production, as well as an entertainment and cultural
base. The architectural part entails the revitalisation of the Old Market
Square alongside the design of an accompanying object, namely the
Town Hall on the Vistula as a symbol of a social city.
