Postępująca globalizacja wpływa na obniżenie atrakcyjności
centralnych części miast. Strefy te nadmiernie się unifikują poprzez
jednakowe rozwiązania centro-twórcze w różnych regionach.
Warszawa notuje stały odpływem mieszkańców z centrum miasta.
Celem projektu jest budowanie dziedzictwa niematerialnego, które
w XXI wieku zaczęło znikać z krajobrazu Warszawy. Czynnikiem
kształtującym charakter miasta są jego mieszkańcy, stąd
architektura w pracy definiowana jest jako element wspomagający
wykształcania się społeczeństwa i relacji w jego strukturze. Projekt
został zlokalizowany w Śródmieściu przy ulicy Poznańskiej 21. W
obrębie działki znajduje się zabytkowy dom peryferyjny z XIX
wieku. Projekt zakłada rewaloryzację budynku. Nowy program
użytkowy udostępnia budynek lokalnej społeczności. W przyziemiu
projektowane są pracownie rzemieślnicze, kondygnacje wyższe
przekazane zostaną lokalnemu centrum aktywności. Pusta część
działki wypełniona zostanie nową kubaturą o funkcji mieszkaniowobiurowej.
Wewnętrzny dziedziniec należący do trzech wspólnot
mieszkaniowych ma stanowić wspólny ogród miejski.
Progressive globalisation has been reducing the attractiveness of
central parts of cities. These zones are becoming excessively unified
by identical central-city solutions in different regions. Warsaw is
experiencing a steady outflow of inhabitants from the city centre. The
aim of the project is to build intangible heritage, which in the 21st
century began to disappear from the landscape of Warsaw. The factor
shaping the character of the city are its inhabitants, hence architecture
is defined in the work as an element supporting the formation of
society and the relations within its structure. The project is located in
Śródmieście, at 21 Poznańska Street. Within the plot there is a historic
peripheral house from the 19th century. The project involves the
revalorisation of the building. The new utility programme makes the
building available to the local community. Craft studios are designed
on the ground floor, the upper storeys will be given over to a local
activity centre. The empty part of the plot will be filled with a new
building with a residential and office function. The inner courtyard
belonging to the three housing communities is to become a common
urban garden.
