540 are ASsociate members, cla.ssified by states, which figures include our Insuran.ce

On June 1, 1952, the ca’sh balance of the Association was $13,862.59.
On J.une 1, 1953, the cash balance was $14,691.34. Of this amount $2,181.95 is
deposited in the Union Market National Bank checking account, Watertown, Mass.;
$1,216.81 is deposited in the Watertown Savings Bank and $7,740.58 is deposited in
the Watertown Cooperative Bank.
Included in the cash balance of June 1, 1953, the Association owns Government
War Bonds the present value of which is $3,552.00 with a maturity value of $4800.00.
These bon& are placed in the Union Market National Bank Vault.
With reference to the funds deposited in the Watertown Cooperative Bank, I
present the following statement from the bank:
