IVS - INDUSTRIAL VALVE SUMMIT 2024
The countdown to IVS –
INDUSTRIAL VALVE SUMMIT 2024 has started
The fifth edition of IVS – Industrial
Valve Summit, the most important
international event dedicated
to reference technologies and flow
control solutions, is only one month
away. The fair trade, organised
by Confindustria Bergamo and
Promoberg, will take place at the
Bergamo Exhibition Centre, in Italy,
on May 15 th and 16 th , 2024.
During the IVS 2024, the organisers
will enrich the offer with side events
and moments of interaction, creating
a true 'valve week', continuing along
the event’s growth path. Starting on
14th May with the opening ceremony,
followed by the opening of the pavilions
reserved to exhibitors, IVS will
offer a valuable opportunity for the
players in the supply chain to meet
and discuss. The event will get into
full swing on 15 th and 16 th May with
the halls opening the doors to the international
public, with hundreds of
exhibitors and thousands of trade
visitors expected. And after the twoday
exhibition, there will be a further
opportunity for foreign delegations
attending the fair to meet the players
in the extended Oil & Gas supply
chain, on Friday 17 th May. In 2022,
the Summit welcomed 12,000 visitors
(+12 % compared to 2019) representing
over 60 countries, in addition
to 300 exhibiting companies (+17 %
compared to 2019) representing 12
countries.
Over the years, the Summit has
established itself as a space where
change can be interpreted and the
latest innovations can be explored,
identifying and examining the challenges
facing the industry. IVS 2024
will hold the widest scientific calendar
ever proposed by the event, which
will be structured by a total of 46 conferences,
round tables, workshops,
case studies and laboratories. The experts
who will take the floor will delve
around eight macro-themes: additive
manufacturing; digital technologies
applied to valves, actuators, and
flow control systems; seals and fugitive
emissions; valve and material design
for harsh weather conditions;
regulatory standards and developments;
supply chain management;
artificial intelligence applied to mechanical
design, supply, and manufacturing;
energy transition and carbon
capture and storage systems.
These are complemented by round
tables discussing hydrogen, analysing
market trends, the Corporate Sustainability
Reporting Directive (CSRD),
greenhouse gas management and
other topics. The update of the IVS-
Prometeia Observatory “The Oil&Gas
Valve Industry 2024”, developed with
the contribution of the Confindustria
Bergamo research office, will also be
presented at the exhibition.
