our school is enhanced by the inclusion of a guidance counselor position<br />

students statewide in grades 9 through 11.<br />

The <strong>Wisconsin</strong> Virtual Academy (WIVA) is a virtual charter school of the<br />

Northern Ozaukee <strong>School</strong> District in Fredonia, offering students throughout<br />

<strong>Wisconsin</strong> equal access to an individualized, rigorous, and self-paced<br />

instructional program delivered both on the Internet and via traditional<br />

instructional materials. The <strong>Wisconsin</strong> Virtual Academy serves students in<br />

grades K-7 from more than 150 school districts in <strong>Wisconsin</strong>.<br />

The <strong>Wisconsin</strong> Virtual Academy’s program combines a comprehensive,<br />

standards-based, research- and performance-based curriculum (K12®), high<br />

expectations, technology, a significant amount of off-line work, strong<br />

instructional support, and substantial involvement from parents or other<br />
