� Chapter 3 describes engineer support to operations and the integration of engineer<br />
reconnaissance.<br />
� Chapter 4 focuses on the varying levels and types of engineer support for each form of security<br />
operations performed by the BCT.<br />
� Chapter 5 describes the targeting process and engineer involvement in planning lethal and<br />
nonlethal fires in the BCT.<br />
� Chapter 6 describes how the modular engineer force provides specialized capabilities to meet<br />
the needs of the BCT during offensive and defensive operations.<br />

command.<br />
� Appendix H describes urban operations (UO) and provides engineers with special<br />
considerations for operating in urbanized terrain.<br />

United States (ARNGUS), and the United States <strong>Army</strong> Reserve (USAR) unless otherwise stated.<br />
