We will remember
Bombs are tossed,
Lives are lost,
All because of the skin,
We all began to sin,
All of the black,
Were forced back,
All but one,
Who was prepared to lose the gun,
Martin Luther king,
Caused an uproar against the segregating,
“I have a dream!” is what he said,
But at thirty-nine he was dead,
But we will remember,
The one who would not surrender,
King was his name,
Through his life we all gained,
Human rights matter,
Don’t make them flatter
Continue what King started because he died for it and if we all try we
may succeed!
