The scars of loneliness
Ned Kelly was the most infamous Australian bushranger who was hanged.
This horror haunts my every dream.
It plagues my life and poisons
The taste of bread with bitterness.
It makes my eyes sting,
I sit alone in my cell and await
The inevitable grip of madness.
I have not talked for so long
My tongue feels limp and weak.
I have not seen a human face for so long
I have forgotten how they look.
And so I drift into the abyss.
Hark! Hark! May the world forgive me for my crime.
May the world forget I have slain another.
May the world forget and let death claim me.

And covered with a chocolate cape
He made the smiles with jelly
He tasted one and it went into his belly
He made the eyes with raisins
And the girl enjoyed them with her cousins
