In the snow
Last night me and my mom and my friend went to our backyard. It was
full of snow all over. My mom pushed me in the snow then my friend
pushed me in the snow too. Then we made a snowman. My mom said to
get some snow for the body. Then we got a big ball for the head. Then
my mom said to find a stick for the nose. We were sitting on both knees.
Then my mom said let’s go back inside. It was a good day.

Looking for what you do not have
It is better to look for what you do not have than to have what you do not
want. We do not have education, we have to look for education, and we
do not have to look for alcohol and drugs. We can still enjoy our youth
without alcohol and drugs for they destroy our future. They are harmful
to our liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs. We have to be a healthy nation by
the time of Botswana’s vision of 2016. To have a vision one needs
compassion. We have to behave assertively, to be effective in our
education our key to service, we should never let anyone or anything
make us fail. We have to be dedicated, disciplined and determined
people with interpersonal skill. When I look into the future, it is so bright
such that it burns my eyes. As youths we need to play a role in doing
child-to-child education, not alcohol and drugs for they make a major
contribution to the spread of HIV and AIDS. We have an obligation to
work hand in hand with the Government in order to fight the AIDS
pandemic.
We should have values as young people by protecting ourselves from the
abuse of alcohol and drugs.
