Protesting together
This little ditty right here was for my infamous AP U.S. History class
last year. We had to write a song describing the capitalists and the lowly
workers who worked for them during the Industrial Revolution in
America in the late nineteenth century. The workers, fuming with
outrage, formed labor unions to express their indignation to the new
industries and their CEOs. This song goes to the tune of the Turtles’
famous song, So Happy Together. So enjoy, and make sure you sing loud
enough so that everyone can hear…..
