How deep is your love?
How deep is your love to God? Are you willing to lose your legs, arms,
sight, voice, sense of hearing, intelligence and furthermore your very
breath? You might be wondering what for? How could you be a better
servant if all you are using in serving Him were all taken away from
you? But the only question here is, how far would you go?
Service to God needs no hands or legs. It is more about the spreading of
His good words to those who need guidance and strength. Being blind is
no hindrance of seeing God’s given gifts because it is more in our hearts
in appreciating His blessings and kindness. Ears of deaf can sharply hear
God’s words more in the hearts of the people around you. Voices in
singing praises are more beautiful when it comes from within and
beyond the very bottom of our hearts because God loves interminably.
Intelligence is of no use in service to God. It caused us to forget about
Him—to ignore Him. It is much better if one knows nothing in God’s
words because it is the only thing, the only reason we need to live in this
sinful world for these lives we are living are only temporary. It makes us
ready for the life we are to live in heaven with Him. So why doubt? Why
regret for these temporary, borrowed lives? The only question here is do
you really love Him more than anything?
Tell me, if we love God why do we sin? In this world we are all sinners.
We violate God’s commandments. We compete for priceless gold. We
ignore the needy. We disobey our parents. We crossed over the limits of
our earthly-environment. We overdo the things that are of no good to
other people. We are arrogant in every single way. We only ask for
God’s help during times of hardships. We cry for others but never for
Him. We pity ourselves. We do not pray with thanksgiving. So people
tell me why so?
If you love God, accept Christ as your saviour and creator. Dedicate
your every action to Him. Make your everyday meaningful following
His models. Do what is right because though we are a perfect imperfect
person, God loves us. He loves us because form the very beginning of
our existence; we are the same beings that He created and made as
children. And so, God’s love is endless. Is your love as deep?
