AGENCIES News agencies pool written and video information from the fields of politics, economy, arts,<br />

sports and entertainment and send them to the subscribers: newspaper, radio and TV stations, the state administration,<br />

businesses, financial organizations and others. The first Croatian news agency, TAH (Croatian<br />

Telegraphic Agency), founded during the Second World War, operated for a few months only.<br />

Presently, Croatia hosts four Croatian language news agencies and about a dozen offices of foreign news services.<br />
