Prevention of money laundering Natural persons, legal entities and their responsible persons are<br />
obliged to report to the Prevention of Money Laundering Office at the Ministry of Finance the identity of clients<br />
for each transaction in cash, foreign currency, securities, precious metals and precious stones if the transac-<br />
tion value totals HRK 105,000.00 or more.<br />
Insurance companies determine the identity of clients in life insurance activities if the annual total amount<br />
of life insurance premiums exceeds HRK 40,000.00.<br />
Upon crossing the Croatian border, domestic and foreign natural persons, a representative, a responsible per-<br />

son or a person authorised by a domestic or a foreign legal person, an entrepreneur or a sole trader and self-<br />
employed physical persons are obliged to report any transfer of cash and cheques in domestic or foreign currency<br />
in the value of 40,000.00 HRK or more to a Croatian customs officer.<br />
