3.5. General safety rules
The following rules must be strictly observed.
• Use as intended
See subsection 2.1.2
• Maker's specifications
The application specifications include also the observance of the regulations for
commissioning, maintaining and servicing the BUFALO RONDOFIX.
• Personnel training
The BUFALO RONDOFIX may be installed, operated (commissioned), maintained and
serviced only by trained personnel. These people must have been instructed about the
dangers associated with the machine.
• Delimitation of responsibility
The responsibilities and competences must be established clearly prior to installation,
operation, maintenance or servicing work, and they must be adhered to under all
Circumstances.
• Misuse
It is absolutely wrong to operate the BUFALO RONDOFIX in such a way that injury to
persons or material damage may ensue.
• Inaccessibility for unauthorized or untrained persons
It is the operator's responsibility that the BUFALO RONDOFIX can be used only by trained
persons.
• Impermissible modifications
Modifications or design alterations detrimental to the security or reliability of the BUFALO
RONDOFIX are not allowed. W. Gantenbein Maschinenbau GmbH must be contacted
before attempting any modifications.
• Registration of modifications
The operator is under obligation to notify W. Gantenbein Maschinenbau GmbH at once of
modifications to the BUFALO RONDOFIX, especially if the security or reliability of the
machine might be affected.
• Maintenance obligation
The operator must ensure that the BUFALO RONDOFIX is operated only under admissible
conditions and in perfect state.
• Working area
The operator must ensure that the BUFALO RONDOFIX is freely accessible on all sides for
all necessary work.
