8. Maintenance<br />
Brief description: this section gives a maintenance schedule describing the<br />
maintenance tasks to be performed on the BUFALO RONDOFIX..<br />
8.1. Introduction<br />
• The maintenance tasks should be performed only by qualified personnel in accordance<br />
with the maintenance schedule. This schedule distinguishes between work to be carried<br />
out by a machine operator (B), by a service mechanic (S) or by a technician from W.<br />
<strong>Gantenbein</strong> Maschinenbau <strong>GmbH</strong> (T).<br />
• Safety instructions in Section 3 are to be strictly observed. Additional safety directives are<br />
in Section 8 before the individual working steps, and these too must be followed without<br />
fail.<br />
• All maintenance tasks must be carried out as they fall due according to the maintenance<br />
schedule and in the sequence prescribed, observing the safety instructions. <strong>Operating</strong><br />
troubles must be expected if this neglected.<br />
8.2. Oils, lubricants<br />
8.2.1. Oils, lubricants<br />
The following oils and lubricants are needed for giving maintenance:<br />
• Oil for the hydraulics is supplied in the tank.<br />
Oil grade: BP Bartran SHF-S 46 or Blaser HVLP 46<br />
• Axle grease for the gluing rollers: Blasolube 304 high-temperature grease.<br />
