Materiales: Cartulinas (un pliego por cada tres alumnos).<br />

Escriba en el pizarrón una lista de palabras propias de un<br />

laboratorio de ciencias (coat, chemical, fl ammable, fragile,<br />

hazardous materials, etc.) y pida que digan cuáles son<br />

cognados. Recuérdeles que cognados son aquellas palabras<br />

que se escriben de manera semejante y tienen el mismo<br />

signifi cado en inglés y en español. Pida a los alumnos que<br />

digan otros cognados y escríbalos en el pizarrón.<br />

1 Experience it!<br />

a. Pida a los alumnos que vean la ilustración y ayúdelos a<br />

contestar las preguntas.<br />

b. Ponga el Track 11. Solicite a los alumnos que escuchen<br />

el diálogo y marquen con una paloma las señales que<br />

corresponden a las advertencias mencionadas.<br />
