1.3.11.7. Computer Platform<br />

It is an online Web application. The users do not need to install anything on their computers. The site<br />

has been tested using Google Chrome, Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7 and 8, and Apple Safari. It does not<br />

work with Internet Explorer 6.<br />

1.3.11.8. Programming Language<br />

The Web application is written in Java, but the users do not need Java installed on their computers.<br />

1.3.11.9. Strengths<br />

Quickly determines valid inverter module configurations and confirms whether the array will fit<br />

within the defined roof area. Paginated PDF system summary report.<br />

1.3.11.10. Weaknesses<br />

The tool does not perform energy production estimates (kilowatt-hours per month or year).
