Il principale punto di riferimento
per il mercato degli appassionati
di dolci home made
e sperimentate nei primi due punti vendita
diretti. «Il nostro background professionale
in termini di marketing e comunicazione
applicato all'esperienza maturata in
questi anni di gestione di Kitchen (punto
di riferimento a Milano per gli appassionati
di cucina) e poi di Dolcemente, è funzionale
all’integrazione dell'offerta di prodotti
Oltre all’investimento
I brand
partner attualmente sono Staedter, KitchenAid,
Decora, Wilton, ma le due titolari
sono sempre alla ricerca di novità “che
possano arricchire la già molto ampia
gamma di prodotti offerti, attente a ciò
che i nostri clienti ci richiedono e segnalano,
perché sono loro la nostra principale
fonte di ispirazione agli acquisti!».
The key brand for
baking enthusiasts
DOLCEMENTE GOES
INTO FRANCHISING
RETAIL The cake-design trend gives rise to
a new franchising chain
The Latin ‘Nomen omen’, can be
roughly translated as ‘it’s all in the
name’. This is certainly true of Dolcemente
(Sweetly), the name of two Milanese
shops catering for both professional
and amateur bakers. Their dizzying array
of products range from food colouring to
rolling pins and everything inbetween.
Following the launch of their two stores,
Dolcemente has decided to enter franchising
in Italy, “we were spurred on by
market data (Assofranchising 2011)
showing this sector to be on the rise”
explains Paola Bresciani, co-owner of
Kitchen and Dolcemente with Myriam
Koppel. Their aim is to quickly repeat the
success of Dolcemente in Milan in strategic
geographical areas and become the
key name in cake-making supplies.
“The first franchise opened on 5
December in Bergamo, this will soon
be followed by another in Monza”.
Dolcemente offers the franchisee not only
all their commercial experience but also all
the procedures, products and techniques
tried and tested within the first two stores.
“Our professional background of marketing
and communication applied to the
experience we have gained from managing
Kitchen (the hottest place in Milan for
cooking enthusiasts) and Dolcemente,
means that we can accompany our
clients during each stage of the buying
experience”.
Two formats are available: 50 sqm plus
a warehouse for product retail only or
80 sqm plus a warehouse and space
for cake-design courses. As well as an
investment to cover rent and eventual
work on the premises, decor and obviously
stock supply, the franchisor provides
a city-centre based store for a fee of
approximately 6,000 euros. Brand partners
currently include Staedter, Kitchen-
Aid, Decora, Wilton, but the two co-owners
are always on the look out for new
brands “which can further enrich our wide
product range, we listen to what our
clients what, they are our main inspiration!”.
