Auch der Verzehr von Fisch ist kritisch zu
betrachten. Die FAO – Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations
– schätzt, dass 28% der Fischbestände
nahe zu irreversibel überfischt sind und
52% abnehmende Fangmengen zeigen.
Achten Sie beim Fischkauf auf Herkunft
und Zertifizierung, so z.B. Marine Stewardship
Council (MSC).
Der Verzehr von saisonalen und regionalen
Produkten ist für den umweltfreundlichen
Konsum von besonderer Wichtigkeit.
Sollten Sie keine Möglichkeit haben, einen
eigenen Gemüsegarten zu Hause anzulegen,
achten Sie beim Kauf von Gemüse
und Obst auf die Saisonalität. Denn Saisonalität
bedeutet auch Frische.
Bei allen Produkten, welche aufgrund von
klimatischen Bedingungen nicht in unserer
Region wachsen, wie Kaffee, Tee, Kakao
Anche per quel che riguarda il consumo
di pesce è necessario informarsi sulla
provenienza. La FAO – Food and Agriculture
Organization of the United Nations – stima
che il 28% dello stock ittico è irrimediabilmente
sovrasfruttato e che il 52% dimostra
una tendenza negativa. Controllate se il
pesce che acquistate sia certificato, per
esempio dal Marine Stewardship Council
(MSC).
I prodotti stagionali e regionali sono particolarmente
importanti dal punto di vista
ecologico. Se non avete la possibilità di
coltivare la vostra frutta/verdura a casa, controllate
la stagionalità dei prodotti comprati.
Stagionalità significa anche freschezza.
I prodotti che per motivi climatici non
crescono in regione, come tè, caffè, cacao
e zucchero, sono preferibili se provenienti
da commercio equo-solidale.
Comprate prodotti non confezionati singolarmente
e usate bottiglie con vuoto a ren-
The consumption of fish has to be
considered critically. The FAO – Food and
Agriculture Organization of the United
Nations – estimates that 28% of all fish
stock is overfished irreversibly and another
52% are rapidly decreasing in size. Make
sure that the fish you purchase is certified,
for example by the Marine Stewardship
Council (MSC).
Choosing seasonal and regional products
is fundamental for a low environmental
impact of one’s food consumption. If
you cannot grow food in your own garden,
make sure you only buy seasonal products.
Seasonality also ensures you to eat
fresh products.
All products, that due to climatic conditions
cannot grow in our region, such as
coffee, tea, cocoa and sugar, should only
be bought if they carry a fair trade label.
Buy large containers or unwrapped items
instead of smaller single-wrapped products.
Choose refillable bottles instead of
