of marketing which includes customized support for the internal visual<br />

aspect of the store and the decoration of the windows, by means of<br />

customized props that are shipped together with our products and a<br />

contribution in terms of a percentage of sales for advertising initiatives<br />

involving our brands. We feel it is important to support the customer<br />

and have greater visibility inside our customers’ stores. For this the<br />

Brand Partner formula is easy to access for the customer and one may<br />

participate with the purchase of only one collection and a minimum of<br />

80 garments. In addition to the above, since last year we have been<br />

pursuing new strategies of collaboration with certain customers who<br />

have decided to showcase Maryan Beachwear Group as their major<br />

supplier of beachwear products, whereby our products account for<br />

from 80% to 100% of that category in the store. Obviously, in these<br />

cases the collaboration agreements involve a condition of particular<br />

and customized contractual affiliation which bind the customer and<br />

the manufacturer. The results achieved have been very interesting<br />

and it is our intention to to pursue this formula of affiliation on into<br />

the future.<br />

Our brand has focused on an extremely high quality product, but<br />

always with special attention to the retail price. The products are all<br />

made from Italian fabrics and exclusively made up in Italy by skilled<br />

craftsmen and craftswomen who have long been working for clients<br />

in the world of haute couture. Ours is a very ambitious project that<br />

begins with the couture beachwear collection (Italian beach couture).<br />

Our strategy is to present a unique product featuring a sophisticated<br />

and elegant style. Our attention to the retail outlets involves making<br />

sure that the selection is well proportioned between the collection<br />

composed primarily of beachwear and the outerwear collection,<br />

because we count on offering a group of items that are capable of<br />

capturing the attention of female shoppers from the windows of the<br />

shops. We pay particular attention also to elegant dresses that can<br />

be utilized as cocktail dresses or evening dresses. As a matter of<br />

fact these items are enjoying a great deal of success in specialized<br />

beachwear shops. The project is completed with the opening of singlelabel<br />

retail outlets (on via Borgospesso in Milano and in Porto Cervo<br />

on the exclusive Promenade du Port), in addition to being carried in<br />

such luxury hotels as the Villa d’Este (Como), Cipriani (Venice) and<br />

Splendido (Portofino). The retail store on via Borgospesso will also<br />

be the location of the showroom for the customers, where they can<br />

view the collection and the visual proposals of the brand.<br />

The synergy between the manufacturer and retailer is fundamental in<br />

order for a brand to be able to achieve important objectives and obtain<br />

long-term success. Especially during difficult economic times like these<br />

it is increasingly important to listen carefully to the retailers in order<br />

to understand market developments and needs and be able to stay<br />

ahead on both accounts. Our daily commitment involves providing a<br />

back office service which is available and attentive, always offering the<br />

retailer the opportunity to exchange items with different merchandise<br />

in order to guarantee sufficient cycling of the product, avoiding leftover<br />

merchandise due to a purchase which doesn’t take shopper tastes<br />

into consideration (in terms of colors, models, etc). With certain of<br />

our customers we have contributed to organizing special days in the<br />

store devoted to our brand, utilizing particular displays and offering<br />

free gifts and / or exclusive promotional incentives for the event. In<br />

addition we have supplied supplementary merchandise in order to<br />

create a stimulating environment and innovative proposals, beyond<br />

our presence as a guarantee of transparency and trust.<br />

For the upcoming Luna di giorno and Caterina D. collections we are<br />

offering a vast array of unique and exclusive items, completely and<br />

proudly made in Italy. The color selection will be especially ample<br />

and rich. The customer will be able to select from a great many lovely<br />

hues, from the most classic and neutral ones to more brilliant and<br />

summery tones. The quality will always be of the very highest level in<br />

relation to interesting prices. The customer will be able to select what<br />

to purchase in the quantities desired, without special limitations. As<br />

always, our products feature excellent quality and we will be offering<br />

our best service, striving to pamper and spoil our customers as best<br />

we know how. Our Luna di giorno and Caterina D. collections are<br />

completely and exclusively made in Italy. Luna di giorno is manufactured<br />

entirely in Casale Monferrato in our own manufacturing facility,<br />

while Caterina D. is made partly in our main plant and partly in the<br />

specialized workshops of of Italian craftsmen. We have never resorted<br />

to outsourcing because we believe firmly in the excellence of Italian<br />

made product, unique in the world in terms of quality and design.<br />

All of our items are very special and unique; only that special Italian<br />

flair for craftsmanship and design can guarantee this excellence. The<br />

fabrics used, the workmanship, the applications selected, the making<br />

up process and the finishing work are extremely complex operations.<br />

This is why we personally oversee every single phase of the creation<br />

and manufacturing process, from the weaving of the fabrics all the<br />

way to the packing of the finished items. Our customers demand<br />

products boasting outstanding quality and appreciate goods which<br />

have been made in Italy, which, naturally, leads to higher costs, both<br />

in terms of the primary materials and for the costs of production and<br />

making up. The final result, however, is an especially sartorial product,<br />

distinguished by sartorial elegance, highly luxurious and exclusive.<br />

From the very beginning we have always chosen to invest what we<br />

have at our disposal for the benefit of our cherished customers.<br />

We have done this in concrete ways by sending them advertising<br />

supports, such as large catalogues, little folders and free swimsuit<br />

carrying bags which they can give to their customers. In addition we<br />

do our utmost to provide a genuine assistance service, for example<br />

if they happen to need a single swimsuit because they have received<br />

a request on the part of a customer in the dressing room and don’t<br />

have the exact size required. All it takes is a quick phone call and if<br />

the item is available, within 24 hours we deliver the garment to the<br />

store at our expense. I believe this sort of exceptional, personalized<br />

service is highly appreciated. And, finally, especially when we go out<br />

in September together with our agents to visit the stores, we try with<br />

them to understand what has worked and what needs improvement<br />

in order to improve the patterns and models for the following season.<br />

Our company, with its Omero, Ibici and Segreta brands, has always<br />

done its utmost to act as a genuine partner with its customers, i.e.<br />

retail stores, offering speedy delivery service of the merchandise<br />

(24-48 hours from the time of placing an order), in order to make<br />

sure that the customer doesn’t have to warehouse too many goods<br />

in the back of the store. Two times a year, when the seasonal collections<br />

come out, we update advertising materials (poster towels for<br />

decorating the windows, window cardboard props and catalogues)<br />

with new and updated images. In addition, each season we activate<br />

PR campaigns with famous bloggers in order to promote our brands<br />

and products. We are very pleased with the communication strategy,<br />

which generates interest in our products among the shopping<br />

public, while at the same time helping traditional stores, since the<br />

shoppers come to them in order to purchase the products they have<br />

perhaps first discovered on-line. We try to offer retailers products that<br />

are always innovative and technologically advanced, manufactured<br />

with special yarns, luxurious natural fibers like cotton, wool, alpaca,<br />

mohair, angora and viscose. This enables us to distinguish ourselves<br />

thanks to the exclusivity of our products and showcase our retail<br />

outlets as highly specialized, qualified stores. All of our fine products<br />

are exclusively made in Italy. The beginning of <strong>2015</strong> we obtained<br />

the coveted Italian Legwear certification which communicates the<br />

characteristics of excellence and authenticity of the products, not<br />

only in terms of fashion and design, but also in terms of concern with<br />

health, the environment, concern for our employees and the entire<br />

manufacturing chain.<br />
