Parts of the equipment that poses hazard is to be painted in bright signaling colors and posted with
safety signs in conformity with requirements of the technical regulatory legal acts.
The employer ensures regular technical maintenance and repair, testing, inspecting certifying
technical condition of equipment in the order and dates determined by the relevant regulatory legal
acts and technical regulatory legal acts too.
The workplaces are to be safe and easy-to-use. Its structure, equipment and arrangement of
workplaces are to comply with occupational health & safety requirements.
Article 29. Compliance of technological processes to occupational health & safety
requirements
Production (technological) processes are to comply with the OH&S requirements.
Occupational health & safety when organizing production process should be ensured by:
o using safe technological processes and production equipment;
o working in production buildings (premises) and production sites complying with OH & S
requirements; rational distribution of production equipment and organization of workplaces;
o using materials causing no hazardous or harmful exposure on employed persons;
o having accident-preventive protection devices, blocking and alarming systems;
o safe ways of storage and transportation of materials, finished products and production
waste;
o using personal and collective protection equipment ensuring safe working conditions for
employed persons;
o applying methods and means necessary for monitoring levels of hazardous and harmful
industrial factors;
Article 30. Compliance of products, facilities for production output and service rendering to
occupational health & safety requirements
Finished products, processes of their designing, manufacture, operation (using), storage, shipping
operations, realization and recycling are to comply with the OH & S requirements.
Project documentation on construction and reconstruction of facilities designated for production
output and services render as well as technical documentation on production equipment,
technological processes are to comply with the OH & S requirements.
The facilities designated for production output and services rendering are to comply with the OH &S
requirements and cannot be put into operation without final conclusions of the state bodies of control
and supervision on compliance of these facilities with the above requirements.
