Train the Trainer Handboek<br />

o follow occupational health & safety requirements as well as mode of conduct rules at the<br />

territory of an enterprise/institution, in production and subsidiary buildings and in industrial<br />

amenities;<br />

o make use of and correctly apply personal protective equipments;<br />

o undergo, in the order established by the legislation, medical examinations, training and<br />

training, field training, safety training course, advance qualification program and verification<br />

of knowledge in the sphere of occupational health & safety;<br />

o inform immediately the employer of any situation causing threat to life or health of employed<br />

and other persons; of an injury case happened at workplace, render assistance to the<br />

employer in taking measures to provide help and assistance to injured persons, delivering<br />

them to the medical establishments;<br />

o exercise other duties foreseen by the occupational health & safety legislation;<br />

An employed person additionally is obliged to:<br />

o follow occupational health & safety norms and obligations foreseen by the collective<br />

agreement, employment agreement, internal code of labor conduct, employment duties;<br />

o report promptly to the immediate supervisor in case personal protection equipment are<br />

missing;<br />

o render assistance to and cooperate with the employer in ensuring healthy and safe<br />

conditions at workplace, report promptly to immediate supervisor or other executive officer<br />

on malfunctioning of the equipment, instrument, fittings, transport means, protection<br />

equipment as well as on deterioration of his/her health;<br />

Article 16 . Work safety service (specialist on occupational health & safety)<br />

For organization of work and performing control over observance of occupational health & safety at<br />

work the employers, pursuant the established legislation, are to set up work safety service and to<br />

institute the staff position of a specialist on OH&S.<br />

The structure and number of staff of OH&S service depends upon the total number of employed<br />

persons, the character and the degree of hazard of industrial environment and work activity factors<br />

as well as upon availability of potentially hazardous work and production activities and other<br />

industrial facilities;<br />

The republican bodies of state administration, other state organizations subordinate to the<br />

Government of the Republic of Belarus, local executive and administrative bodies set up<br />

occupational health & safety services and institute the staff position of a specialist on OH&S in<br />

accordance with the established staff size;
