Chapter 6 - Occupational health & safety requirements when performing<br />
individual work items<br />
Article 31. Occupational health & safety requirements at construction, installation and<br />
special works<br />
Construction, installation and some special works are performed in compliance with occupational<br />
health and safety requirements.<br />
The employer performing construction, installation and some special works is<br />
required to work out and implement measures ensuring safe working conditions when performing<br />
these works.<br />
Before beginning of major construction, installation and special works the welfare amenities and<br />
appliances for employed persons are to be got ready for operation in accordance with the technical<br />
regulatory and legal acts. The welfare amenities should foresee places for first aid boxes containing<br />
necessary medicine and accompanying medical products.<br />
Performance of construction, installation and special works is forbidden without using personal<br />
protection equipment.<br />
Article 32. Occupational health & safety requirements to loading and unloading operations<br />
and warehousing operations<br />
Loading, unloading, warehousing cargo is to be performed in compliance with the occupational<br />
health & safety requirements.<br />
For organization and performance of loading and unloading works and warehousing operations the<br />
persons responsible for loading and unloading works ate appointed.<br />
When performing loading and unloading works and warehousing operations the stability of transport<br />
means and lifting equipment and warehousing cargo should be ensured. The place of performance<br />
of these works is to be illuminated in accordance with requirements of regulatory legal acts as well<br />
as with the technical regulatory legal acts.<br />
Execution of loading/unloading works and warehousing operations is forbidden without using<br />
personal protection equipment.<br />
Article 33. Requirements on occupational health & safety when working with manual tools.<br />
Performance of works with using manual tools is carried out in accordance with OH & S<br />
requirements.<br />
The manual tool is to be in good order, be used for the purposes it was designated to, conform to<br />
working conditions, to technical regulatory legal acts related to a specific kind of a tool.<br />
