17 a. In the <strong>Netherlands</strong> you have the right to leave if your child is ill, or if you need to go to a doctor<br />

because your child has become ill. This is agreed on in the collective labour agreement. Is this the<br />

same in your country?<br />

17 b. If your child is ill you are entitled to brief care leave, as stated in a collective labour agreement.<br />

18 a Twins or multiple births: do you get more leave if you have twins or more children?<br />

18 b Parental leave is possible for both parents. How is this arranged in your country? What<br />

percentage of men and women take parental leave?<br />

18 c Single mothers: do you have extra provision for single mothers?<br />

18 d. Women without a work contract: there are women in all countries who work on a family farm.<br />

This is usually looked on as ‘lending a hand’. Can you give an estimate of how many women in your<br />

country do this?<br />

18 e Do you know what the legal position is for these women? Do these women have to possibility<br />

to get organized?<br />
