3 月 27 日 至 30 日 , 一 年 一 度 的 Art Paris Art Fair 巴 黎 藝 術 博 覽 會 再 度 在 大 皇 宮 舉 行 。 今 年 的 APAF 較 往 年 更 加
符 合 展 覽 會 三 年 前 所 確 立 的 新 定 位 —— 發 掘 東 方 藝 術 的 歐 洲 展 會 。
這 次 有 來 自 20 個 國 家 超 過 140 個 畫 廊 的 作 品 組 成 的 多 個 主 題 展 覽 區 , 例 如 「 承 諾 」、「 藝 術 設 計 」、「 巴 黎
春 光 」 等 。 參 展 畫 廊 50% 來 自 國 外 , 標 誌 著 APAF 真 正 的 國 際 化 。 正 值 中 法 建 交 50 週 年 的 2014, 這 次 的 Art
Paris Art Fair 透 露 著 一 股 不 尋 常 的 訊 息 。 在 數 個 主 題 展 覽 區 中 有 一 個 最 特 別 的 名 為 「 中 國 之 尊 客 」。
Held each year at the Grand Palais, the annual edition of Art Paris Art Fair, “APAF” (27-30 March) is more in line
with its new identity and the direction established three years ago : a European exhibition that discovers the Oriental
arts.
This time, the works of more than 140 galleries from 20 countries form many thematic sections, such as “Promises”,
“Art Design”, “Springtime in Paris”, and so on. 50% of the participating galleries are from abroad, meaning
that APAF is becoming truly international. As 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between China and France, this Art Paris Art Fair sends an unusual message. Among the thematic sections,
one platform is called “China as Guest of Honor”.
The organizers have invited 90 contemporary Chinese artists to exhibit their works of art. This year’s exhibition
turns again the spotlight on Chinese artists who are long-term Parisian residents, including Zao Wou Ki, Chu Teh
Chun, the founder of the “Star” group Wang Keping as well as the Literature Nobel Laureate and artist Gao Xingjian,
whose works are exhibited by Galerie Claude Bernard at the art fair. Other invited artists include the well-known
Rong Rong, Yue Minjun, Liu Bolin and Ma Liuming.
Over the years, the contemporary Chinese art has been in a relatively awkward position from the perspective of
the Western art. We often see very similar artists and the “stars of market”. As some Chinese artists have abused
commercial formulas and monopolized media attention, the Western media has no shortage of stereotypes about
China.
However, this time Art Paris Art Fair explores in-depth the diversity of contemporary Chinese art. The emphasis is
put on a generation born in the 1970s and 80s, who grew up in large cities, are proficient in using the Internet and
the new media, and traveled and studied abroad. These artists are highly politicized and interested in social issues,
including the effects of urbanization. Through this project, APAF seeks to present a panorama of contemporary
Chinese artists from several generations, to let the world look toward the East, and see a group that has risen to the
forefront of the international art scene in less than 30 years.
主 辦 方 邀 請 了 90 位 中 國 現 當 代 藝 術 家 帶 來 他 們 的 作 品 。 這 次 的 展 覽 將 鎂 光 燈 重 新 打 亮 在 長 居 巴 黎 的 中 國 藝
術 家 身 上 , 例 如 趙 無 極 、 朱 德 群 ,「 星 星 」 畫 會 的 創 始 人 王 克 平 , 在 Claude Bernard 畫 廊 展 出 作 品 的 諾 貝 爾
獎 得 主 —— 藝 術 家 、 作 家 高 行 健 。 應 邀 參 展 的 藝 術 家 也 包 括 著 名 的 戎 戎 、 岳 敏 君 、 劉 勃 麟 、 馬 六 明 等 。
中 國 現 當 代 藝 術 數 年 來 一 直 在 西 方 藝 術 眼 光 中 處 於 一 種 相 對 尷 尬 的 位 置 。 我 們 總 是 看 到 極 其 相 似 的 藝 術 家 以
及 市 場 之 星 。 因 為 的 確 不 少 中 國 藝 術 家 濫 用 商 業 模 式 以 及 壟 斷 媒 體 關 注 , 西 方 媒 體 對 中 國 藝 術 也 不 乏 陳 詞 濫
調 。
但 這 次 的 巴 黎 藝 術 博 覽 會 , 深 度 挖 掘 中 國 現 當 代 藝 術 的 多 樣 性 。 重 點 展 示 七 八 十 年 代 出 生 的 長 於 大 城 市 ,
熟 知 互 聯 網 、 新 媒 體 , 在 外 國 旅 行 遊 學 過 的 一 代 人 。 他 們 對 政 治 問 題 、 社 會 問 題 、 城 市 問 題 有 高 度 興 趣 。
APAF 力 圖 通 過 這 個 項 目 呈 現 出 幾 代 中 國 現 當 代 藝 術 家 的 全 景 , 讓 世 界 凝 視 東 方 , 看 到 這 個 團 體 在 不 到 三 十
年 的 歷 程 中 已 經 走 到 了 國 際 藝 術 舞 台 的 最 前 沿 。
